Reanimated

So, I'm wondering if I should replace the songs on this blog with the Reanimated versions (the remixes from the album; Reanimation)

So, comment in my Cbox if I should change, or just add this to the current playlist.

Back From Vietnam

So, I'm back from Vietnam. I will post on Thursday the full events and pictures I took with my new but old camera, the Nikon D70. It was my fathers camera until he bought the D300 and passed the D70 to me (me like!). Anyway, my mom won an Ipod Touch 8Gb at her company's Lucky Draw, which was prize number 15 (prize 7 was a PS3 and first was a 37 inch LCD tv)! Now I need to wait for my mom to go back to work and claim her prize. More stories from the trip to come.

*Oh ya, going to Sentosa tomorrow till Wednesday, so TTFN... again.

Pagani Zonda R

Horacio Pagani has had a surprising life. His passion for cars, speed and design emerged very early and, at the age of 12, he amazed everyone with models of supercars carved from wood or modelled in clay.

He made his debut into the world of racing cars when he was 20, designing an F.3 that competed in Argentina under the colours of the official Renault team. Then came an enormous number of industrial design projects in which he had an accelerated apprenticeship, combining a mixture of creativity and a maniacal search for perfection.

He met Juan Manuel Fangio, his childhood hero, who became the right person to introduce him to Modena, the home of legends like Ferrari and Lamborghini. And the miracle took place at Lamborghini.

It was engineer Alfieri who provided the young Horacio with the space to express his imagination and manual dexterity.

He started off as a third level mechanic in the bodywork department but was rapidly promoted to manager of the new composite material department. He took part in all the important projects of those years: the LMA Jeep, the restyling of the Jalpa, the design of the Countach Evoluzione (the first car in the world with a one hundred per cent carbon chassis), the Golf Caddy and the 4 valve Countach.

In 1988, he set up Pagani Composite Research which carried out various projects, including the restyling of the Countach Anniversary, for which the company also supplied the final details in composite materials.

At the height of this collaboration, Pagani worked with the team that designed the Diablo, the Lamborghini P140, the L30 and the Diablo Anniversary.

The difficult economic climate created in 1992 by the events linked to the Gulf War did not discourage Pagani from producing his own supercar.

Added to his collection of amazing supercars is the Zonda R. Although the Zonda R shares the typical characteristics of any other Zonda, in actual fact, it was built totally from scratch. The wheelbase and length of the entire car has been increased.

Equipped with a 7.3-litre V-12 AMG engine from the geniuses at Mercedes-Benz, it has 750 horsepower and 523 lb-ft of torque. A lot of carbon fibre was implemented on the structure, making a very lihtweight body. One of the fastest cars (excluding race oriented only cars like F1) ever built, this is certainly one hot ride! *sizzling sound as I touch the engine*

Change Of Songs And Blog Content

I have deleted unnecessary widgets to save loading time and I have changed the songs. A separate web page shall be created soon for the lyrics to the songs. Total revamp eminent.

Back, And This Time For Good

Due to some scrambled settings and phone line problems, I was unable to go online. But the supreme one in my house (my dad) solved the problem and I should be regularly online again. I'll start changing things on my blog starting next week. My wireless may also be up by then.

DM Light Combo

So, while I was 'gone', I was thinking of DM combos and thought of this almost undefeatable Light combo.

Cards needed:
2 Mihail, Celestial Elemental
1 Baraid, The Explorer
1 Blocker that untaps after it blocks (e.g. Kuukai, Finder Of Karma)

When you have both Mihail in the battle zone, all creatures are protected (sadly including your opponent's creatures too). This means that you are free to attack and not worry about Blockers or Slayers destroying your creatures. When your opponet attacks you, just keep blocking with Kuukai, it will never get destroyed! Now, to get past your opponent's Blockers, use the Silent Skill of Baraid which allows you to attack and not be blocked! An almost sure win situation!

The Return

So um.... hehe, I sneaked and got the modem!

Fasting Month's A Comin'

Well, so tomorrow is the start of Ramadan, the month where we Muslims start fasting for a whole month. So that means no food from the time the sun rises till it sets. Darn, can't scrap anymore and PE is going to be tough. oh, and we must refrain from saying bad things, so no vulgarities too. Can't sing 'Bleed It Out' for the whole month LOL.

Geography Project

I had nothing to post on the past few days so.....

Today went to Marine Parade Library to do the Geography Project. My team was assigned the volcano Mt Stromboli. So we slack for like 30mins before Clive came with his laptop. Then Adeeb started complaining that he ate too much (a first)! We decided to do a powerpoint presentation.

After we were done, Adeeb and I went to the Mosque outside VS to do our Friday prayers. Once the praying was done, I scrammed back home due to a bad headache. So here i am, typing this krap.....

Movie Review: Ratatouille

Food, romance, the ambiance of Paris and..... rodents, yes RODENTS. All you can expect from the latest Disney movie: Ratatouille. This comedic movie (with a sprinkle of romance) will leave all laughing, crying and definitely hungry, craving for more.

It tells the tale of a cute rat, Remy, and his quest to find good food. He finds his way to Gusteau's, a five star restaurant on the edge of closing down. Along with the late Gusteau, the chef/figment of Remy's imagination, Linguini, the son of Gusteau and Remy's 'puppet' and Colette, Remy's love interest, the team gets ready to cook up a storm and impress food critic, Ego. Ego is able to crush any restaurant's reputation with his reviews. Known as 'The Grim Eater' by many, no one dares change a menu without his consent.

Duration: 1h 40mins (excluding the 20min alien clip at the start)

AEP Workshop At CHIJ Toa Payoh

Just back from CHIJ where an AEP Workshop were held. The four AEP centres of the Secondary level in Singapore came together to create Relief Tiles. I was grouped up with Dexter, a girl from Nanyang, a guy from HCI and two girls from CHIJ, making a group of three boys and girls each (sorry for not remembering names). The five of us(The HCI guy came later on as he was busy) at first just stoned when asked to give ideas to our carvings for 15 damned minutes! Finally, Dexter 'ahem'ed and I started giving krappy ideas improved by the girls. So we agreed to create a mosaic comprising a guy who is trapped behind bars looking at the Sidney Opera House, The Great Wall, The Pyramids and the Eiffel Tower, which turned into Mt Krakatoa after Dexter turned it red.

During the break, I mingled with the rest of the Sec1 VS AEP students. Then the Sec2 girl who was supervising my group came out. Ben said she was Chio! WTF (actually quite okay)!

Then, after the second and last break, came the presentation of our tiles. When it was our turn, we all stoned infront of the whole 'group', pushing the microphone to other people. Finally I took it and 'presented our presentation'. Tze Yang's group was quite funny! They made the windows of an aeroplane crashing. "In the front, there's a pilot in a cockpit, quite screwed up lah," Tze Yang. Hidden meaning!

Overall it was a fun day, mixing with other art geniouses (LOL).

The Punisher 2

From a source from Marvel.com, there is a new movie coming out in 2008, 'The Punisher 2'!

The Punisher Movie Site

Time

It's strange how time changes people. People change their appearance, their personality, their feelings.

Yesterday, my friends and I went back to Temasek for Teacher's Day. My friends all have changed. Jia Yan seems somewhat shorter. Lucille and Wesley seem to have lost some weight, Meng Chun even said I lost weight. Meng Chun seemed tougher. Nikki even gained confidence, she's not that shy girl in the corner anymore. But people like Winston never seem to change. But one things for sure, no matter how much our friends change, they are still our friends, and will always be for life.

Lugia AR Code

The following is an Action Replay DS code for D/P to get a Level 100 Lugia which knows Aerial Ace, Hydro Pump, Earthquake and Thunder and max contest stats. Its skill is Wonder Guard (so its quite obvious to other people that it is not legitimate). The OT is ??????, it does not have Pokerus and to activate it, press L+R. This will replace your leading Pokemon with Lugia. At first, some stats may seem screwed, but put it in a box and withdraw it and all faults will be restored.

Action Replay, The Hacking Tool

Ever wanted infinite ammo, infinite life or infinite cash for your games? Well the Action Replay for DS can bust all games for DS! There are also ARs for other platforms.

Hehe, I just bought an Action Replay yesterday and I already hacked my Pokemon Diamond. Now I have Arceus, Shaymin and Darkrai, all level 100 and legitimate (because I hacked the item needed and not the Pokemon itself)! They are level 100 as I have gotten 999 Rare Candy from AR! I also have 999 Master Balls! Anyone want a Master Ball? I'm selling!

I GOT MY PHONE BACK

I GOT MY PHONE BACK FROM MR CHIA! FINALLY!

Mac Surrealism

Today for AEP, we went to the Media Lab to do a Surrealism project (digital version). I had fun with marcus figuring out how to use Photoshop CS2. I composed a picture using a skull, a tombstone and a pair of vampire fangs. I also found a picture of hell and I used that too. I also changed my account wallpaper to that.

Back at home, I tried to use the picture as my wallpaper too, but, to my surprise, the picture can't fit full screen without distorting (wide screen). This means one thing, my computer screen's resolution is higher than the Mac's!

Movie Review: Rush Hour 3

The King of Trash and the King of Bash reunite again in the third movie of the Rush Hour chain. In this movie, the twosome go to Paris to investigate an old Ganglord tradition; leading them to even more trouble. Who or what is 'Shy Shen'? Why won't Lee shoot Kenji? Who is Genevieve and how is she related to the Triads? All this and more will be answered through the course of the movie.

This movie is as hillarious, maybe even more so, than the prequel movie. Jackie Chan's Chinese accent seems wierd and out of place in the movie but still adds to the comedy of the film. Chris Tucker delivers racist jokes that are so funny, even the people the jokes target will laugh out loud! The best movie in the whole series!

Duration: 1 and a half hours

NDC

Okay... now you all are thinking that I will be blogging about a Nintendo DS (NDS) and got the abreviation wrong. If so, you're wrong! Today was National Day Celebrations. Which means... no lessons! We had an observance ceremony where we were damn late due to Zabid talking about the national flag. By the way, red on the flag stands for brotherhood! LOL!

Then, we had the 'Singing Routine' like every year. Then came, Floorball! I teamed up with Marcus, Wen Jie, Jason and Ryan Loy. We played against Zabid's team. Then the English teacher smash her stick into my thumb, bruising it. F***! Anyway, we lost 3-0.... =(

Back at home, at 1530hrs, I watched TV. LOL, Kids Central showing 'Scrap It' LOL!!! I call today, the day of Marcus LOL.

Planarity

Hi guys! From a link at Sherman Yuen's blog, I found a new puzzle game at planarity.net! It is a game where multiple lines are conected by vertices and you are supposed to move the vertices to move the lines so that no lines intersect. Very hard, but fun! I spent about 25 minutes on the first 5 puzzles!

An exapmple of a ridiculously super easy puzzle. Note the 'ridiculously super easy puzzle'!

Nintendo Wii

Hey there, last Saturday, I bought a Nintendo Wii for my birthday! It came with a free Spiderman 3 game, Wii Sports and an extra remote.

The Wii uses motion sensors found in the remotes (also known as the Wiimote) as controls, like in Spiderman 3, you can change the direction of the webbing by flicking the remote or in Wii Sports, tennis uses the remote as a racket. You swing it to hit the ball.

Emoed The Day Away

Yes, you may see me smiling, cracking cold jokes and laughing the day away, but actually I just wanted to be alone. Recess, see me wandering about. Before choir, see me again wandering about. I just don't know why, but I feel like getting down on my knees and shout like an emo person!

The day started off with me forgetting to complete my Physics and forgetting my 'family photo' that Mr Zabid asked us to bring. For the fourth time in a row, I'm not having proper AEP classes (wah slack!). Then, after school, went to the choir room to put down my bag and emoed the time away.

We had our CCA photo-taking today, so boring, wait so long, our slot delayed for like 40mins. Then, after that, went back to the room. All was peaceful until Robin asked the Sec 4s to leave, then I knew that something was wrong. Then Robin asked the choir to knock-it-down (push-up position). Then, he scolded us for bad behaviour. I emoed my way through pumping (push-up) position. Then, Robin told us to knock-it-down 50, not 20, not 35, 50!!! Again, emoed my way through.

When it was over, I was too lazy to change back, and proceeded to Temasek Primary. There, I caught up with Sherman Yuen (ex-student conductor). Then met some of my old friends. Smiling, but deep down inside, emo. Then met my ex-form teacher, said hi, then left.

Now I'm here, emoing again.

You Only Realise Things Were There When They Are Finally Gone

Yes, its true. There are a lot of things and people I treasure. But people stragely only appreciate things fully when it's gone. This is evident in many cases in my life. Shy to say lol.

Boring Birthday

Today, as you may know, was my birthday. Birthdays are meant to fill someone with joy, but not for me, at least for today.

The day started with me scramming to the choir room during recess for a rehearsal for the upcoming SYF Presentation. We practised Ondeh Ondeh, Noyosa and Pokpok Alimpako till 1230hrs. We sounded like krap during the practise runs. I could sense Syukri, Robin, Malcolm, and Ashwin getting pissed, so i was bracing myself for pumping. Then, Robin and Syukri just shouted at us instead of pumping us. Everyone was in a solemn mood.

At VCH, we warmed up. It was relatively okay, just that the timing for the entry of Ondeh Ondeh was way off. I'm not sure if it was Travis's or the choir's fault. Then, we had a briefing by the organiser, and we 'learnt' (more like follow blindly) some coryography for the finalle song, Kelidascope. Then we performed, not bad, but NJC clearly trashed us. Then, I followd my mother back home.

Presents so far (good and bad):
-Krappy Falsetto since start of Pattaya trip
-Scolding from Robin
-$150 from auntie
-$20 from maid

Movie Review: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The newest installment in the Harry Potter saga reveals more about Harry's life. His godfather, Sirius Black meets a tragic fate in an all-out battle between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters, Harry becomes more mature, and corruption hits the Ministry of Magic.

The movie, however, seemed to lack that magical feel that the prequel movies had (most probably because I watched it in Pattaya, and I feel the theatre cropped the pictures too much). There was not much suspense compared to the prequels and again did not reveal who the characters were. You would only know them by watching the previous movies or by reading the book. Quite dissapointing, for a new Harry Potter movie.

AVOS, A Voyage Of Songs

Yo! Just back from my Pattaya trip! How was Victorian Challenge? Anyway, the trip was quite packed, with us preparing for the competition and having fun. On the first day, we stayed at Asia Bangkok Hotel. We were only staying there for one night. We practised singing in the evening, after which, we went to a shopping mall near the hotel called 'Maubukung' (I think thats the way to spell it). Gerald bought a t-shirt wich was a fake of the brand Puma. It had the word 'Tuna' and replacing the puma logo, was a tuna! It was also complete with a 'Tuna' label and had a question-mark for the 'TM'!

From the 12th to the 16th of July, we stayed at 'Ambassedor City Hotel'. That was where the competition was to be held. There was a 'Sports Centre' where we could rent badminton courts, table-tennis tables and pool tables. I played three rounds of pool over the span of my stay. I also met my old friends Kenny and Ruth who were from TKSS choir. On the 14th, was our competition day. We competed in the Category F, Folklore, one of the most competed categories in the whole international competition. We spent a lot of time at night chatting (more like shouting and screaming) and playing the night away after the competition, well, only till 11+pm. On the 15th, we watched TKSS and a few other choirs perform. It was surprising that Ruth was in Alto, when she had quite a high speaking-voice. Then, we went shopping at 'Mike'. There were no decent eating places, so I bought some cup noodles instead. I bought a basketball for 300 Baht, about S$15.

The results for the competition were announced at 5pm Bangkok time (+7 GMT). VS got a Gold C, with 81.3 points! We beat Cat. High! VJC managed to clinch first for two categories, making it to the grand finals, along with TKSS (they won the children category, where only three choirs performed, bullying the other young competitors), one Philipino choir and an Australian choir. The Philipino choir was the overall winner of the Grand Finals.

So, tomorrow going to school. So tired.

PS: To Marcus, the trip was damn fun! Play, shout, play ,shout, tau pok JC and Li Keen, play, shout, talk to old friends, play, shout.....

Move Deleter Finally Deletes!

Last time, with the help of my cousin, I traded my Suicune over to Emerald. It knew Surf then. I was so frustrated that I could not make it forget Surf, even when I went to the Move Deleter, due to the fact that it knew it way before the trade. Now, my cloned Suicune can! Now i'm going to clone a few, then restart my Emerald and FireRed and get repetitive Legendary Pokemon! YAY!!!

Pokemon Emerald Cloning!

I just tried a cloning glitch for my Pokemon Emerald Version, and it works! I sucessfully cloned my Suicune! It has all the same stats and the same held item! Too bad that I migrated all of my precious items and Pokemon to my Pokemon Diamond.

Here is how the glitch works:

Things you must be able to do:
-Go to the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier
-Have an empty box in the PC

Things to do:
-Go to the Battle Tower (make sure you have the Pokemon you want to clone with you)
-Go to the PC located in the tower and deposit the Pokemon you want to clone into an empty box.
-Save the game
-Withdraw the Pokemon going to be cloned
-Go to the Link Multi Battle Room and talk
-'Enter' the Pokemon going to be cloned and another Pokemon
-At first 'Yes-No' promt to save the game, say 'Yes'
-At next promt to save the game, say 'No'
-After the clerk says 'We hope to see you again...', turn the game off without saving the game.
-Now go to the PC
-You will realise that there are two of the cloned Pokemon of exact 'specifications', one in the box, and one in your party
-Reapeat!

*This cloning glitch cannot be used with Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza as they cannot be entered into a Battle Frontier battle.

VJC Performance

Today, I had choir practice at 0900 hrs. The choir seems to be lagging in intensity since I was shifted to the third row. Maybe it is because there is no one behind me, so there is 'less' sound, maybe.

At 1230 hrs, I finally got my rooming list for 'A Voyage Of Songs' at Pattaya. I will be roomies with my senior, Ee Yang in Asia Bangkok Hotel. For Jomtien Hotel, I will be roomies with Ee Yang, Jiahoo and another of my seniors, Clarence. Hope that I can have some fun there!

Then at 1300 hrs, i proceeded to VJC. I decided to walk there. Surprisingly, I managed to beat some choirmates who took the bus! At VJC, we tested how we sounded on stage. At first, we sounded 'empty'. Later on, we listened to a guitar preformance by an Australian school. Not bad, I must say. I wish I had taken up the offer given by my mother when I was three to learn how to play the guitar. Then Tampines JC performed. Wah! Imba! Then TKSS performed. I saw my old friend Kenny lol! Again, imba! Then, our turn, the moment of truth. Ondeh Ondeh, ok so far. Pok Pok, darn lucky! Everyone suddenly in time! Safe! After us, VJC performed, three words, imba, Imba, IMBA! WOOT! Then the Australian choir performed, all girls, WOOT, lol! The day ended on a high note, lol!

Movie Review: Transformers

Based on the historic saga of the Transformers franchise, this new movie re-popularises the whole franchise. This movie is rather different from the very first cartoon series, locating the story in present day Earth, instead of in the future. The vehicles have also changed. For example, Optimus Prime is now a trailer cab instead of a firetruck and Bumblebee is now a Camaro instead of a VW Beetle. The story is also different as in the original cartoon, the Autobots crashed into Earth 4 million years ago. In the new movie, Bumblebee was the only Autobot on Earth, signalling to the rest of the team to come to Earth later on.

This exciting action-packed, wheel-grinding, metal-manupilating motion picture tells the compelling saga of the Transformers, giant sentient beings from a distant planet who are able to disguise themselves as anything they desire, whether it be a car, plane or even a radio. Locked in battle for an energy source, known as the All Spark, hidden on Earth. This energy source is capable of creating Transformers from any electrical appliance. The mighty Autobots must band together with Earth's soldiers to trump the notorious Decepticons, who are determined to take over the universe with the power of the All Spark.

The movie has cool visual and sound effects, which make it a great movie.

The movie's credit song is Linkin Park's 'What I've Done', which fits the movie well.

Duration: 2 and a half hours

Rating: PG 13

The Return Of The Punisher

First of all, I apologise for me not posting anything for the past 1 and a half weeks due to a Trojan, the same one that hit me the last time! Windows Vista sucks! Has Bill Gates gone mad when he released it? Curse that son of a computer virus! My father has restored my computer to its former glory (but my computer is laggier than ever). So, expect me to be active again.

All Mixed Up; The Hulme F1

This is a Hulme F1, a street-legal sports car developed in New Zealand. This twisted car looks like a stripped-down Lamborghini Gallardo (due to its headlights and orange paint, commonly associated with the Gallardo) and houses a BMW engine. The car, manufactured by Supercars Limited, was named after New Zealand's only F1 champion, Denny Hulme. The car is supposed to give the driver the same feeling and thrill as driving a real F1 car.

The Lamborghini Family

Last week, I talked about my favourite jet, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. This week, I will be talking about my favourite sports car brand, Lamborghini!

First up, the Lamborghini Gallardo. The standard Gallardo houses a 5 litre, V10 engine (10 pistons), 373kW (500bhp) base and a 510 N-m torque. The car is capable of going from 0-100km/h in 4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 14.5 seconds and a top speed of 309km/h.

(Lamborghini Gallardo)

The newer Gallardo SE (Special Edition) houses a meaner 388 kW (520 bhp) base. It is capable of going from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 327km/h.

(Lamborghini Gallardo SE)

The newest 2007 Gallardo superleggra is the fastest of the three Gallardos. It boasts a carbon body, making it super light or superleggra. The car gets 10 extra hp (horse power) and 154 fewer pounds.

(Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggra)

The Gallardos are actually slower than the Murcielago, but the Gallardos handle better, making it a more practical and safe car.

*****

Lamborghini is also designing a new SUV, which will house a 6 litre V12 engine borrowed from the Murcielago. The new SUV also features some characteristics similar to the Murcielago, like its headlamps and its side air vent.

Joke: Vulgar Parrot

Mary received a parrot as a gift. The parrot was fully grown with a very bad attitude and worse vocabulary. Every other word was a curse; those that weren't curses were to say the least, rude. Mary tried to change the bird's attitude by constantly saying polite things, words and playing soft music... anything she could think of. Nothing worked. She yelled at the bird and the bird got worse. She shook the bird and the bird got madder and more rude. Finally in a moment of desperation, Mary put the parrot in the freezer to get a minute of peace. For a few moments she heard the bird swearing, squawking, kicking and screaming and then, suddenly there was absolute quiet. Mary was frightened that she might have actually hurt the bird and quickly opened the freezer door. The parrot calmly stepped out onto Mary's extended arm and said,

"I'm very sorry that I offended you with my language and my actions and I ask your forgiveness. I will endeavor to correct my behavior and I am sure it will never happen again."

Mary was astounded at the changes in the bird's attitude and was about to ask what had changed him, when the parrot continued,

"May I ask what the chicken did?"

Joke: Breaking The News

Once some boys got together to play poker one night, after about 4 hours of playing, Tim had severe chest pains and suddenly slumped over. One of the gamblers who happened to be a doctor, examined him, and to everybodies shock, poor Tim had died of a heart attack.

All his friends didn't know how to break the news to his wife. Finally Johnny said,

'I can be diplomatic about it and break the news gently!'

Johnny rang the bell at Tim's house, and when his wife answered the door, he calmly said to her,

'Tim just gambled with us and lost 1,000 dollars!'

When Tim's wife heard this she said,

'Tell him to just drop dead!'

Johnny answered,

'That's exactly what he did!'

Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird (The Fastest Air-Breathing Manned Vehicle)

SR-71 Blackbird

The SR-71 Blackbird (part of the Blackbird family, consisting of the A-12, YF-12 and M-21 varients), manufactured by Lockheed Skunk Works, is well known for its speed. This spy-jet is capable of flying at Mach 3 (3 times the speed of sound). The plane had its maiden flight in 1964. The plane was an early attempt at stealth technology, one of the first planes to be shaped to reduce radar cross section, but still had a large enough radar signature to be recognised as a plane. The M-21 varient could be equiped with a D-21 (Q-12) unmanned drone for strategic reconnaissance.

D-21 (Q-12) unmanned drone

The Blackbird was so popular that Marvel Comics actually adapted it and redesigned the exterior for the X-Jet used by the X-Men.

X-Men's X-Jet

__________

On September 1, 1974 Major James V. Sullivan, 37 (pilot) and Noel F. Widdifield, 33 (reconnaissance systems officer), flashed across the starting line (radar gates in New York) at approximately 80,000 feet and speed in excess of 2,000 miles per hour. Exactly 1 hour 54 minutes and 56.4 seconds later, they had set a new world speed record from New York to London England. The average speed was 1,807 statute mph over the 3,461 statute mile course, slowing to refuel one time from a specially modified KC-135 refueling tanker. The aircraft was placed on static display at Farnborough Air Show for 1 week. It marked the first time the secret plane had been on public display outside of the United States. Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson, the aircrafts designer, was on hand for the event. He remarked, "It (the SR-71) has exceeded all my expectations."

Another historic speed record was set on the return trip to the United States. Capt Harold B. Adams, 31 (pilot), and Major William Machorek, 32 (reconnaissance systems operator), set a speed record from London to Los Angeles. They returned the Blackbird 5,447 statute miles in 3 hours 47 minutes and 39 seconds for an average speed of 1,435 miles per hour. The difference in the two speed records was due to refueling requirements and having to slow over major US cities. Even so a large number of people in Los Angeles reported broken windows due to the sonic boom.

The Dream (Ahhhhhh!)

I just read Li Keen's first post on his wierd dream, and strangely, I had one of my own just last night (is there a connection, LOL).

My dream starts with me sitting in the VS canteen, wif my best friends from Temasek sitting around one table. We were all in VS PE uniforms. Why would all my old friends whom most of them went to different schools be wearing VS PE uniforms? Then we were suddenly running along corridors. Somehow I just knew that the corridors were that of my old school, although it seemed different. We turned a corner and many random people ran past, with my kindergarten friend, Yusof (who still looked 6 years old, strangely) leading. This was quite random as I had not seen or talked to him since K2 (WTF!). Then the girls from my old class ran by, and the girl whom I have a crush on brushed against me. Then I fell infront of a doorway, with a sign which read 6A (which coincidentally was the same class which door I fell and hit, getting my scar and scaring the krap out of girls).

Then the girl whom I had a crush on helped me up. We started running again and reached the end of the corridor, turning right, facing the stairway. I mysteriously started to rise into the air (even more reason to shout, WTF!). Everything went black and I could only see the girl I had a crush on. Next thing I knew, I woke up.

Man was that spooky!

Joke: I Know The Answer, Sir

While visiting England, George Bush is invited to tea with the Queen. He asks her what her leadership philosophy is. She says that it is to surround herself with intelligent people.

Bush asks how she knows if they're intelligent.

"I do so by asking them the right questions," says the Queen. "Allow me to demonstrate."

Bush watches as the Queen phones Tony Blair and says, "Mr. Prime Minister, please answer this question: your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?"

Tony Blair responds, "It's me, ma'am."

"Correct. Thank you and good-bye, sir," says the Queen. She hangs up and says, "Did you get that, Mr. Bush?"

Bush nods: "Yes ma'am. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely be using that!"

Bush, upon returning to Washington, decides he'd better put the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to the test. Bush summons Jesse Helms to the White House and says, "Senator Helms, I wonder if you can answer a question for me."

"Why, of course, sir. What's on your mind?"

Bush poses the question: "Uhh, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Helms hems and haws and finally asks, "Can I think about it and get back to you?"

Bush agrees, and Helms leaves. He immediately calls a meeting of other senior Republican senators, and they puzzle over the question for several hours, but nobody can come up with an answer. Finally, in desperation, Helms calls Colin Powell at the State Department and explains his problem.

"Now look here, son, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Powell answers immediately, "It's me, of course."

Much relieved, Helms rushes back to the White House, finds George Bush, and exclaims, "I know the answer, sir! I know who it is! It's Colin Powell!"

And Bush replies in disgust, "Wrong, you dumb shit, it's Tony Blair!"

M.A.C.H

I just bought a new game; M.A.C.H (Modified Air Combat Heroes). The game is about aeroplanes and you are the pilot. There are two modes in the game; Race and Dogfight, which explain themselves. The game is overall quite fun (considering that I love aeroplanes), although the wierd thing is that on the screen, 'X' is the button to select and 'O' is to deny. But actually, it is the opposite!

Media Club Photography Workshop

Today, I attended a photography workshop for my second CCA, Media Club. We first watched a presentation about camera parts, terms used in photography and finally examples of good and bad photos.

Then comes the fun part. We had a 1 hour break for lunch! Marcus, Li Keen and I decided to go and eat at Parkway Parade. We had a hard time deciding if we should eat at Mac Donalds, KFC or Burger King. We finally decided to eat at Burger King. After I finished lunch, Marcus and I went to the game shop to decide which game I wanted to buy. Li Keen meanwhile finished his meal. I then settled to buy the PSP game, M.A.C.H (Modified Air Combat Heroes).

After lunch, we assembled back at the Media Lab, only to find out that the teachers were very late! We waited for 10 minutes! We were then sent to the National Stadium to put our new knowledge in photography to use. I took 20 pictures while Ian Leong took 65! Boy was it a tiring day!

Complete Lv100 Team

My Metagross is now level 100 too! Now I have a full party of 6 level 100 pokemon!

Submarine CCA

Choir is now more like 'Banshee Submarine' CCA. Today the S1s (stands for Soprano 1, which sing the absolute highest) were screeching 'Pum Pum' in the song 'Pokpok Alimpako', making them sound like the siren heard when a submarine is diving. At the end of practice, we all were forced to do pumping due to bad behaviour. So i'm now here, blogging, bored .......zzzzzzzzzzz!

Joke: A Father's Last Request

A husband and wife had four boys. The odd part of it was that the older three had red hair, light skin, and were tall, while the youngest son had black hair, dark eyes, and was short.

The father eventually took ill and was lying on his deathbed when he turned to his wife and said, "Honey, before I die, be totally honest with me - is our youngest son my child?"

The wife replied, "I swear on everything that's holy that he is your son."

With that the husband passed away. The wife then muttered, "Thank God he didn't ask about the other three."

Level 100 Team

I now have 5 level 100 Pokemon. They are:

-Rayquaza
-Charizard
-Empoleon
-Giratina
-Luxray

May I conquer the Battle Tower with ease now!

Roadtrip

First of all, I would like to appologise for any SMSes or calls that I did not receive yesterday as I had gone to Johor to attend a wedding and I do not have reception there.

Now on to yesterdays happenings:

Before entering the school for another session of Banshee Practice, I met Zaki! I said 'hi' and then entered the school. I use the word 'banshee' as the Sopranos (the section which sing the highest notes, which includes Li Keen) were more like screeching at one point in the song 'Pokpok Alimpako'. We then learnt a new song; 'Ondeh, Ondeh' (yum!).

After practice, I was immediately whisked away to the Second Link and entered Malaysia. Then came a boring two hour drive to my grandaunt's house. At the wedding, I did not eat anything as I hated traditional Malay food, well maybe not all of them I hate. maybe it was better that I did not touch the food as my parents had diarrhoea the next day a.k.a today. I reached home again at 10pm. Man am I tired! So, there you have it, the days happenings.

Wednesday, 30 May 2007

Monopoly

Reading that Zaki had much fun with Monopoly while he had a broken arm, I decided to play my old Monopoly game (game platform: Nintendo DS, since I'm an only child, all alone at home, no one to talk to, I play a virtual one [no cheatcodes]). I played with the rules where the properties were dealt out at the start, so everyone has an equal share (that means instant sucess). I always buy and sell my properties, like if he has one blue (I always want blue), and he needs a red for example, I wait till he is rich as hell, and then trade him my red for his blue and most of his money, then start building hotels on blue. I repeat the same thing with my next favourite, green, then yellow(if I can have those), Making one whole 'Street' full of MY HOTELS! I trashed everyone =)

Thursday, 24 May 2007

Boredom; 1D

Today, we still played chess and Risk. 'Domination is one thing, conquest is another', Zaki. After school, i had choir practice. I'm unsure if im in 'Torture Club' or choir. We learned a new song 'Pokpok Alimpako' (what the krap is that?). I spent about three hours listening and reciting gibbrish. We were dismissed at 6pm. By the time I got home, I was so exhausted, I nearly slept, but not before writing this. So now, good night (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz).

Wednesday, 23 May 2007

Slack!

As you can see, today in class, we all slacked and played risk. BLUE DOMINATES

=)
